  1. I would like to be able to share this article with the instructors of an online separation anxiety course and my coursemates. A dog’s anxiety can be caused by many factors, one of which is her/his physical health. And I gauge my own dogs’ body condition with the help of the Purina BCS chart, which I shared a while back. I found your “hand rule” to be most helpful this morning – it helped me better judge my one dog’s BCS.
