  1. I’m trying to decide to renew or not… I really am not happy with the cookies that are difficult to disable, in addition to all the ads… Why pay for something to have to deal with this stuff???

  2. When WDJ changed from print to digital, I followed instructions as to how NOT to renew, and then I was charged anyway in 2025. I just received the renewal and Do. Not. Want. To. Renew., but can’t find where to cancel. Seems to be a common complaint here.

  3. My subscription to Whole Dog Journal will be expiring in July, 2026. I will not be renewing it. I no longer have time to read it. I have ejoyed the publication and wish you continued success with it.

  4. I’m so annoyed with WDJ. I don’t like the online format and had canceled my subscription, and then was charged a second time for a subscription. I’ve sent multiple emails but get no response. I’m done.

  5. Ditto, Douglas Walters!
What happened to WDJ? I could find no simple explanation for when exactly it changed hands. The “editorial” policy has been slipping toward the dark side for some time now. Wholistic? Not. no. more.
C’mon – a recent article on why grains are good for your dog by a PhD nutritionist who just happens to work for IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances, a corporation that specializes in artificial ingredients.)

  6. I hate this online format, hate the new company or owners and after a decade or more of getting this publication I am cancelling. On top of that they have auto renew and my account is all screwed up when even clicking their link it will NOT ALLOW ME TO CANCEL
I sent a message and thank god for credit cards, if they charge me, I simply dispute and let the card company handle it.

    • I’m so glad to see all your comments re negative experience that I’ve shared as well. I’m so sorry to learn they changed owners; the online format is awful and I too, can only see 6-25 issue-
It’s awful website and if they have changed focus as I read here, I’m done when my subscription expires.
